Each of my
creations is very detailed. I start by envisioning what I want to create and
from which era. Then I research that era thoroughly, my favorite is the time of
Greek Mythology. After the research, I draw the outline and make a pattern. Once
cut out, I tac weld the pieces together. Most of my creations have been put
together and taken apart several times just to get the right look. I attempt to
mirror the muscle tone, fluidity, and gracefulness of each piece. Peruse the
pictures on the following pages, I hope you enjoy.
- Butterflies
-
Each of
these butterflies were researched for wing and body size and coloring.
After making a basic template, I had to decide how to come up with a way to
make each of them 3-d. Once past this stage, I had to create the colors and
markings found in nature. No two are alike and each is signed. I will not
make more than 100 of each kind of butterfly.

- Decorative Fixtures
-
These
fixtures include wind vanes and other items that would compliment an office,
foyer, or entryway. Each of these items have been created with the same
care as the practical wind vanes with research, detail and hard work going
into each one. Each of these items have been signed and dated.
- Special Projects
-
Some of
these projects are for my personal pleasure in creating them, others have
been commissioned by various groups and organizations.
-
- Wall Hangings
-
These
creations will compliment any wall. As with all my creations, these have
been created to give many years of enjoyment.
- Wind Vanes
-
Each of these vanes have been created with care to be sure they can
withstand the elements. The have been detailed down to the sinew of the
muscles and the down of the feathers. Each can easily be attached to any
roof pitch with the hardware I include.
